Name: | Lonnie Chandler |
---|---|
Birthdate: | May 14 |
Lonnie is a quiet sort, not as bookish as she likes to pretend, it's just that hiding behind a book is a good cover for the intensive people-watching that she's fond of.
She credits this sort of people-watching with saving her life on more than one occasion, because being able to be someone else is second nature for her now, just as easy as Jumping away from a situation.
Of course, she's had a few close calls with the Paladins, she's got her share of scars, the way she sees it, they're sort of a rite of passage for Jumpers. There is a war on, and it's up to them whether they want to keep fighting or go belly up. She knows there will come a time when she turns over, but it hasn't happened yet and she's got a few more years of fight left in her.
Her paternal grandmother was a Jumper, so her father knew what was going on when she first Jumped at age twelve, and he was able to fill her in on the war and everything. Suddenly their lifetime of moving every few years made sense to her, he'd been giving her Jump sites her whole life and she hadn't even known it. He trained her as best he could, firearms, hand-to-hand combat, even a little parkour.
The Paladins caught up when she was seventeen. Her father died in a Detroit emergency room and Lonnie vanished shortly thereafter and for the past five years she hasn't stopped moving.
(Lonnie is an OC for the movie Jumper, her face is provided by Tessa Thompson, and I mean no disrespect, libel or slander by the usage of her pictures, nor do I make any profit from the same, this is just for fun and games. Mun, muse and PB are all over 18)
